		give me your hand
		I will take you into the landscape of Master Li
		delicate colors fade there
		in the sun
		the earth breathes
		as if it were not alive
		and the quiet smile of the Master
		upon the earth

		your hair full of the wind
		will stick to your cheeks
		your hands bent by desire
		will blossom with open fingers
		silence lodges
		in the gaze of Master Li

		he gazes with empty orbits
		and calls the sun familiarly
		his word fondles light
		like hair
		and smooths color
		and says
		make still your extended hand
		and I will give you the world
		on the palm of my hand
