		The Witch
		-------------------------------------------------------

		Hexe -- the dark red of congealed blood the blackness
		of hair scattered by the wind the breasts white and
		small.  She plaits the hair of clouds into long heavy
		braids she spins the stalks of rain.  On a golden ray
		of the sun like on a broom she rides into the gate of
		a seven-colored rainbow.  The mouth of colors closes up
		around the rolled up hips.  With a slender heel crazed
		by love she kicks at the sun and through the sky takes
		her leave into another world that is nearer.
		Her cracked lips and hair.
		Hexe.

		Hexe -- ciemna czerwien/ skrzepl/ej krwi czern/ wl/o-
		so/w rozsypanych wiatrem piersi bial/e i drobne.
		Plecie wl/osy chmur w dl/ugie cie/z/kie warkocze
		rozsnuwa l/odygi deszczu.  Na zl/otym promieniu
		sl/on/ca jak na miotle wjez/dz/a w brame/ siedmio-
		skrzydl/ej te/czy.  Zamykaja/ sie/ usta koloro/w woko/l/
		zwinie/tych bioder.  Wa/ska/ pie/ta/ szalona z mil/os/ci
		kopie sl/on/ce i poprzez niebo odchodzi w s/wiat inny
		i bliz/szy.
		Jej spe/kanym wargom i wl/osom.
		Hexe.
