		the walls vibrate
		a tree's branches bow
		into the shape of shoulderblades

		when I talk about him
		the sun
		stops on a stalk of grass

		and blossoms

		among fruit
		the wings of birds
		fall sleep

		patiently
		I keep up his dark head

		the night
		standing around
		disparagingly
		knocks off the stars
